BAC Dotplot

This page is focusing on the overlap between two select BACs. On the top left you can see a dotplot visualising the overlap between BAC contigs of the selected BACs. The colour of the diagonal lines represents the quality of the overlap. You can also change the query and hit BAC by clicking on the Change Query and Hit BAC button. On the top right you can see the BAC fingerprints.
Below the visualisations you will find an interactive report comprising the BLAST results of the overlapping BACs giving you a more detailed information than the dotplot image. Use the search field for a free text search. To search within a specific column preselect the column by clicking on the magnifier symbol on the left. Additional options such as filtering and column sorting are available through the actions menu.

This picture compares the fingerprints of query (left side) and hit (right side) BACs. An overlap is shown in the middle column.
If the left or right side is empty, a fingerprint for the BAC is not available.
